What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember information between pages or visits. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies used on clicklogic.co.uk, which is run by Harry Thompson Marketing Ltd, trading as ClickLogic. How we handle personal data more generally is set out in our privacy policy.

The cookies we use

Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. They collect statistical information about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people move between them, so we can improve it. Because this data is also used to inform our Google Ads, these cookies are only set if you allow analytics cookies. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies; it only loads the tools listed here.

Advertising measurement cookies. Set through Google Tag Manager to measure whether our own Google Ads lead to enquiries. They record that you arrived from one of our ads, so a later booking can be attributed to it. These are only set if you allow advertising cookies.

Booking widget cookies. Pages with the booking calendar load Calendly, which may set its own cookies to run the scheduler and keep it secure. These are set by Calendly, not by us. Details are in Calendly's own cookie notice.

Sign-up forms. The form for free resources sends your details directly to Mailchimp when you submit it. It does not set cookies on this site.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in those categories is set until you choose, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. We use Google Consent Mode, so if you decline, Google's tags run without storing or reading cookies on your device.

Your choice is remembered on your device for 12 months, using your browser's local storage rather than a cookie, and then you will be asked again. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or here:

Open cookie settings

If you withdraw consent, the analytics and advertising cookies already on your device are deleted.

Other ways to opt out

  • Google Analytics: install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops your visits being recorded on any site using Google Analytics.
  • All cookies: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings. You can also browse in a private window, which clears cookies when you close it.
  • Google advertising: you can manage how Google uses data for advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

Blocking cookies will not stop the site working, although the booking calendar may not load if its cookies are blocked. If that happens, email harry@clicklogic.co.uk and I will arrange a time directly.

Changes to this policy

If the cookies on this site change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
